One bike or two?

Most couples share one scooter: it's cheaper, you can talk on the way, and the passenger is free to take photos and follow the map. Two bikes make sense if both of you are confident riders, if one of you is much heavier or taller, or if you plan long rides and want to swap the tiring part. Our price is per bike, not per person: 150,000 VND a day for any bike, so one shared scooter costs 150,000 VND and two scooters 300,000 VND.

Which scooter is best for two people in Da Lat?

Comfort for the passenger

• Fold out the passenger footrests and keep both feet on them the whole time.
• Hold the rider's waist or the rear grab handle — don't lean back without holding on.
• Wear closed shoes and long trousers; mornings and evenings in Da Lat are cool, so bring a jacket for both of you.
• Pack light: a small backpack for the passenger and the storage box under the seat for raincoats and water.
• Stop every hour or so on long rides — sitting behind is more tiring than it looks.

Safety when riding two-up on Da Lat's hills

• With two people the bike brakes longer. Ride slower, keep more distance and use both brakes gently, especially downhill.
• The passenger should lean with the rider in corners, not against them, and avoid sudden movements.
• Agree on simple signals — a tap on the shoulder for "stop" or "slow down".
• Both of you wear a helmet, fastened. We give free helmets with every bike — two for two riders.
• Vietnam drives on the right. No alcohol or beer when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.

Tell us when you message that you'll ride two-up, roughly where you plan to go and, if you like, your approximate weights — we'll suggest the most suitable bike and adjust the mirrors and tyres before you leave. Before the rental we do a short test ride together and film the bike's condition. There is no cash deposit: you leave a passport or ID card. Every bike has a phone holder, and gas scooters come with 1 liter of fuel. For 2+ days we deliver free to hotels in central Da Lat.
