Can two people ride one electric scooter?

Yes — our electric scooters take a maximum of 2 riders, with a combined weight under 140 kg. This is a safety rule for the motor, brakes and battery, so please tell us honestly when you book. If the two of you are over 140 kg together, we'll suggest a Honda Air Blade 125cc instead, at the same price.

Where an electric scooter for two works well

• Around Xuan Huong Lake and the city centre.
• Café hopping and short rides between central sights.
• An evening ride to the night market — park and walk around together.
• Gentle loops close to the city at a relaxed pace.

The scooter is quiet and has no gears, so the passenger can talk, take photos and enjoy the ride.

Battery: plan a little more carefully as two

One battery lasts about 35–40 km; each scooter comes with 2 batteries, about 60–70 km in total. With a passenger and Da Lat's hills, the battery goes down faster than with one rider, so keep your loop compact and start heading back when about a third is left. A battery swap at our shop costs 20,000 VND.

When to choose the Air Blade instead

Long steep passes such as Prenn and Mimosa, the road up Lang Biang, and long day trips to the Cau Dat tea hills or the big waterfalls are not suitable for an electric scooter with two people. For those days the Honda Air Blade 125cc is the right bike for couples: more power on climbs, a comfortable seat for two and no battery to think about — still 150,000 VND per day.

Comfort and safety tips for two

• Both riders wear a helmet — we give you two. Fasten the strap every time.
• The passenger sits still and leans with the rider on bends, feet on the footrests.
• Pull away gently: with two people the scooter feels heavier at the start and on hills.
• Brake earlier and more softly downhill, especially in rain; never ride through deep water.
• Vietnam drives on the right. No alcohol or beer when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
• Bring a jacket for both of you — Da Lat evenings and mornings are cool.
