What the Honda Air Blade is
The Honda Air Blade is one of the most common automatic scooters in Vietnam. Ours have a 125cc engine — noticeably stronger than the 110cc Honda Vision — a comfortable seat for two and a roomy compartment under the seat for raincoats and a jacket. Like every scooter we rent, it is fully automatic: no gears, no clutch, just throttle and brakes.
When a Honda Air Blade rental in Da Lat makes sense
- Mountain passes. Prenn, Mimosa and the road towards Lang Biang are long, steady climbs. The extra power of the 125cc makes them calmer and safer, especially uphill with a passenger.
- Two riders. With two people on board the Air Blade keeps a steady pace on slopes where a smaller scooter has to work hard.
- Day trips out of town. Waterfalls to the south, the Cau Dat tea hills (about 20–25 km each way) or a long loop — the Air Blade is the most comfortable choice for 50–120 km days.
- Early rides. For a dawn trip to the tea hills, see renting a motorbike for a sunrise ride to Cau Dat.
When a smaller bike is enough
If you only stay in the city, a Honda Vision 110cc or an electric scooter is lighter and easier to park. Electric scooters are not made for long steep passes, so for Prenn, Mimosa or Lang Biang choose the Air Blade. Not sure? Our automatic scooter rental guide compares the options.

Price and what's included
The Air Blade costs the same as every bike at Van Phu: 150,000 VND per day, a fixed price. Included:
- A helmet (two if you ride as a pair) and a phone holder.
- 1 liter of fuel to get you to the nearest petrol station.
- A test ride and a short video of the bike's condition together before you go.
- No cash deposit — you leave your passport or ID card.
- Free delivery to hotels in central Da Lat for rentals of 2 days or more.
One rental day runs from pick-up until 21:00. Full details are on the Da Lat motorbike rental page.
Riding the Air Blade on Da Lat's hills
- Downhill, brake early and gently with both brakes, and don't ride with the brakes on all the way down — slow down before bends instead.
- Uphill, keep a steady throttle; don't stop in the middle of a climb unless you have to.
- On passes, stay on the right, watch for buses and trucks coming round bends, and never stop on a curve for a photo.
- In the rain, slow down: painted lines and steel covers get very slippery.
- Fuel: fill up in the city before a long trip; petrol stations are sparser in the hills.
- No alcohol or beer when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
How to book
Send us your dates, how many bikes you need and where you're staying on WhatsApp, Zalo or Telegram. We'll keep an Air Blade for you — popular in high season and at weekends, so it's worth writing a day or two ahead. Our shop at 1/15/5 Thong Thien Hoc opens at 4:30 am, so even early starts are possible.
