What the Honda Vision is
The Honda Vision is one of the most popular scooters in Vietnam, and you'll see it everywhere in Da Lat. It has a 110cc engine and is fully automatic: no gears and no clutch — just throttle and two hand brakes. It is light, has a fairly low seat and turns easily, which makes it simple to manoeuvre in traffic, push into a parking spot or turn around on a narrow street.
Who a Honda Vision rental in Da Lat suits
- Beginners and first-timers. The light weight and smooth automatic gearbox make it the friendliest scooter we have to get used to riding.
- City riding. Xuan Huong Lake, the market, the railway station, Domaine de Marie and cafés are all 1–3 km apart. The Vision is ideal for these short hops and easy to park.
- Solo travellers. Alone on the bike, the 110cc engine handles Da Lat's city slopes without trouble.
- Short trips just outside town, such as Linh Phuoc Pagoda in Trai Mat or Datanla Waterfall, at a relaxed pace.

When to choose the Air Blade instead
Da Lat is hilly. For long steep passes such as Prenn and Mimosa, the road towards Lang Biang, day trips of 50 km or more, or riding as two with luggage, the Honda Air Blade 125cc has noticeably more power and is more comfortable. - Free delivery to hotels in central Da Lat for rentals of 2 days or more.
One rental day runs from pick-up until 21:00. All details are on the Da Lat motorbike rental page.
Riding tips for the Vision in Da Lat
- Practise first on a quiet street near the shop: braking, slow turns, starting on a slope.
- Downhill, use both brakes early and gently; slow down before bends rather than in them.
- In the rain, ride slower — painted lines and steel covers get slippery.
- Fuel: the Vision is economical, but fill up before leaving the city.
- Ride on the right, no alcohol when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
