When to return the bike
A rental day at Van Phu runs from pick-up until 21:00. Bring the bike back to our shop at 1/15/5 Thông Thiên Học by 21:00 on your last day. If you rented for several days, the same 21:00 time applies on the final day.
Running late because of traffic or rain? Send us a message on WhatsApp, Zalo, Telegram or WeChat before 21:00 so we know you're on the way. A quick message is always better than a surprise.
Want more time? Extend by message
If you decide to stay in Da Lat longer, you don't need to come to the shop to extend. Just message us, tell us how many extra days you want, and we'll confirm. Every extra day is the same fixed price: 150,000 VND per day. Planning a longer stay from the start? See renting a motorbike for a week or longer.
Returning early in the morning
Catching an early bus? Our shop opens at 4:30 in the morning, so you can return the bike on your way to the bus station. Tell us the evening before what time you'll come, and keep a few minutes for the check. Remember that the rental day ends at 21:00, so returning the next morning counts as another day — ask us and we'll help you choose the cheaper option.

What happens at the shop
- Quick look at the bike. At pick-up we recorded a short video of the bike's condition together with you. At return we simply compare — so nobody argues about old scratches.
- Helmet and phone holder. Bring back the helmet you received; the phone holder stays on the bike.
- Passport or ID card back. There is no cash deposit, so once the bike is checked we hand back your passport (foreign guests) or ID card (Vietnamese guests) and you're done.
The whole return usually takes just a few minutes.
Fuel and batteries
- Gas scooters leave the shop with 1 liter of fuel. If you're unsure how much fuel to leave in the tank at the end, ask us at pick-up so there are no questions later.
- Electric scooters come with 2 batteries — please bring both back with the scooter.
Tips for an easy return
- Take a photo of where you parked the night before and save our shop as a pin in your maps.
- Check the under-seat storage for sunglasses, rain ponchos or chargers before you hand over the bike.
- If something went wrong during the rental — a flat tyre, a small fall, a warning light — tell us honestly; we'd rather know and help.
- If we delivered the bike to your hotel, message us to arrange how to return it.
- No alcohol or beer when riding, even on the last evening, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
