Step 1: Choose your bike
All our bikes cost the same — 150,000 VND per day — so choose by how you'll ride:
- Honda Vision 110cc — light and easy, a good automatic for the city and short trips.
- Honda Air Blade 125cc — more power for hills, mountain passes, two riders and long day trips.
- Electric scooter — quiet and simple for riding around the city; maximum 2 riders with a combined weight under 100 kg. Not for long, steep passes such as Prenn, Mimosa or Lang Biang — take the Air Blade for those. Details on our electric scooter page.
Step 2: Send us a message
Write to us on WhatsApp (+84 944 081 101 or +84 834 622 149), Zalo (0944 081 101), Telegram (@vanphudalat) or WeChat (vanphudalat). To book quickly, send:
- your pick-up date and approximate time;
- how many days you need the bike;
- which bike you'd like, and whether you'll ride alone or with a passenger.
We reply with confirmation and keep the bike for you.

Step 3: Come to the shop
Our shop is at 1/15/5 Thông Thiên Học in central Da Lat and is marked on Google Maps. We open every day from 4:30 am, so even a sunrise trip is possible — though it's often easiest to pick up the bike the afternoon before.
Step 4: Test ride and video
Before you leave, take a short test ride to get the feel of the bike — brakes, throttle, mirrors. Then we film a short video of the bike's condition together: body, lights, tyres and mirrors. At return we compare with this video, so it protects you as much as us. If you're new to scooters, ask us to show you the basics; we'll take the time.

Step 5: Leave your document and pay
There's no cash deposit. You leave your passport (or ID card for Vietnamese guests) at the shop and pay the rental upfront: 150,000 VND per day, a fixed price. You get a free helmet and a phone holder on the bike; gas scooters come with 1 liter of fuel to get you to the nearest petrol station.
Step 6: Ride safely
- Vietnam drives on the right. Go slowly for the first few minutes until you're comfortable.
- Wear your helmet, no alcohol or beer when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
- Da Lat is hilly: brake gently on descents, especially in the rain.
- Park in guarded parking lots and lock the bike.
- For an electric scooter, come back to the shop to swap the battery (20,000 VND) before it runs low.
- Any problem on the road — message or call us.
Step 7: Return the bike
A rental day runs from pick-up until 21:00 the same day, so return the bike before 21:00 on your last day. We check the bike together against the video and hand your passport or ID card straight back. Want to keep the bike longer? Just message us before 21:00.
