From Nha Trang
A very popular route. It's about 135–140 km along a scenic mountain road over a pass, taking roughly 3.5–4 hours.
- Bus — several departures a day from different companies, for example Futa (Phương Trang).
- Limousine van — small minibuses with comfortable seats that often pick you up from your hotel.
Tip: the road is winding — if you get carsick, sit near the front and don't eat a heavy meal before the trip.
From Ho Chi Minh City
About 300 km.
- Overnight sleeper bus — roughly 6–8 hours, and you save a night at a hotel.
- Plane — about an hour to Lien Khuong Airport. From the airport to central Da Lat is about 30 km by taxi or shuttle.
From Mui Ne
About 160 km, roughly 4 hours by bus or minivan. The road climbs from the sea into the mountains and it gets noticeably cooler — keep a sweater handy.
