Why an electric scooter suits the city
Central Da Lat is compact: most famous sights are within a few kilometres of Xuan Huong Lake. An electric scooter is light, quiet and has no gears, so stopping and starting between sights is easy, and you can enjoy the pine-scented air without engine noise. Exploring Da Lat city by electric scooter is ideal if you want to take your time, stop often for photos and coffee, and stay close to the centre.
A relaxed city route
- Xuan Huong Lake: start with a slow loop around the lake (about 5 km). Mornings are calm, often with mist over the water.
- Da Lat Flower Park: at the north end of the lake, a good first stop.
- Lam Vien Square and Da Lat Market: in the heart of town; park at a guarded lot and walk around.
- Da Lat Railway Station: a short ride east of the lake, with its famous old station building.
- Domaine de Marie church and Crazy House: on the west side of the centre, close to each other.
- Evening: come back to the centre for the night market and the lights around the lake.

Plan around the battery
One battery lasts about 35–40 km, and each scooter comes with 2 batteries — about 60–70 km in total. A day in the centre is usually well within that. A few habits help:
- Ride the hilliest part of your day first, while the battery is full.
- Hills and a passenger use more power — head back with some battery left.
- Our shop is central, so you can stop by and swap for a full battery for 20,000 VND, for example around lunchtime.
- Do not use other chargers and do not remove the battery yourself.
Roads to avoid on an electric scooter
Electric scooters are made for city riding. Avoid long steep passes such as Prenn, Mimosa and the road to Lang Biang, as well as long day trips out of town. For those days, take a Honda Air Blade 125cc at the same price — many guests ride electric in the city and switch to gas for one day out. Remember the limit of 2 riders weighing under 100 kg combined.
City riding tips
- Vietnam drives on the right; go slowly around the lake and at roundabouts.
- Even central streets have short steep slopes — brake gently with both brakes going down.
- Use guarded parking (gửi xe), keep your ticket, lock the scooter and take the key.
- Bring a jacket for cool mornings and evenings, and a raincoat in the rainy season.
- No alcohol or beer when riding, and strictly follow Vietnamese traffic law.
- Return before 21:00 — a rental day runs from pick-up until 21:00.
